Salisbury Steak Recipe – How to Make Salisbury Steak

hello and welcome to soul food cooking today I'll be making Salisbury steak you will need one-and-a-half pounds ofground beef 1 egg 1 medium onion one half cup of breadcrumbs one-half cup ofbeef broth 1 can of french onion soup 1 cup of mushrooms 1 tablespoon ofall-purpose flour 1 tablespoon of ketchup 1 tablespoon of worcestershiresauce 1 teaspoon of salt 1 teaspoon of pepper one-half teaspoon of garlic saltand one-half teaspoon of brown mustard add your breadcrumbs your eggs and yourseasoning to your ground beef and mix well form ground beef into oval-shapedpatties and set aside until we're ready to cook in a different bowl combine your frenchonion soup your beef broth your flour ketchup and worcestershire sauce and whisktogether until all the flour has dissolved cook your ground steaks for about fiveminutes and then remove them from the pan now sauté your onions and mushrooms forabout three minutes pour your gravy mixture then returnedyour patties to the pan and cover and allow to cook for 10 minutes after 10 minutes turn your patties overand cover and allow to simmer for an additional 10 minutes I just love the taste of homemadeSalisbury steak and i hope you will too if you like this video please give it athumbs up and if you have any recommendations for recipes please leavethem in the comments below thanks for watching and don't forget to subscribeto soul food cooking.
