Raw Vegan Sushi Recipe ~ cauliflower ‘rice’ sushi

Hi everyone, so today I'll be showing youhow to make raw vegan sushi.

So for this recipe, we're not going to use white rice.

Instead, we're going to use cauliflower 'rice', which is much healthier for you, and just as delicious! This recipe contains 4 rolls, 3 of them will be fully garnished, and 1 one them will be an avocado roll.

So let's get started.

For the rice, the ingredients that you are going to need are: 2 1/2 cups of raw cauliflower, and 1/4 avocado.

For the filling you will need: a bit of romaine lettuce, 8 strands of cucumber this size, the remaining of the avocado (3/4 of an avocado sliced, 1/2 bell pepper sliced (it could be yellow, orange, or red) and 1/2 cup of grated carrots.

You will also need 4 nori sheets.

To make the rice, it's super simple, all you need to do is take the cauliflower, put it in the food processor, pulse for a little bit, and then add in the avocado, and pulse again, and there you have your rice.

Alright, so now the rice is ready, now all we have to do is start assembling everything and we're going to have some sushi! For the assembly, you're going to need a rolling mat, on top of that you're going to put a parchment paper, and then you're going to take your nori sheet, and you're going to put the glossy side facing downwards, and we want to have vertical lines like this.

So for the rice, we're going to put it righthere.

Then.

we're going to put all the vegetables, and then we're going to wet the surface ofthe nori sheet, so that when we roll it, it sticks together properly.

For the avocadoroll, we're going to do the exact same thing, except that instead of putting all the vegetables, we're just going to put the avocado.

So let's get started! Now that we are done rolling the sushi, we're going to go ahead and cut them in bite size pieces.

So, I always make the end pieces a little bit bigger, just because it tends to fall out, but for the other pieces,I make them about this big.

So for this, your're going to need a really sharp knife.

Apply very small, and slow pressure.

So as I said, this is a bigger piece because that is the end.

You want to have pieces that are about this size.

Alright, so our sushi are finally ready! You can definitely eat the sushi just as they are, they are absolutely delicious, but you can also pair it with some sesame seeds, some wasabi (which I absolutely love),and some vegan soy sauce.
