welcome to sneha kitchen today we are going to make chana masala restaurant style or punjabi style To make chana masala we need ingredients 1 cup chick peas soak at over night 4-5 tbsp oil 1 tbsp poppy seeds 6 cashew soak for half hour and grind it 1 tsp kashmiri chilli powder 1 tsp turmeric powder 1 tsp Asafoetida 1 tsp chana masala 1 tsp cumin seeds salt to taste 2 medium onion 8 garlic cloves 2 inch ginger 3 tomato 1/4 coriander leaves 2 bay leaves 4 cloves 2 green cardamom 1 black cardamom soaked chip pease boiled in pressure coocker add 2 cup water in it give 6 whistles on low flame now make paste of onion,garlic and ginger in a grinder grind tomato and chilli separately Heat a pan add oil Now oil is heated add bay leaves small and big cardamom close cumin asafoetida saute it for few seconds Now add oinion,garlic and ginger paste mix it well now sitr it till golden brown stir it on low or medium flame add tomato puree add turmeric kashmiri chilli powder salt to taste chana masala powder mix it well add cashew poppy seeds paste now oil is separate from pan now add boil chick pease with water now keep for 5 minutes on low flame now your chana masala is ready you can have it with roti rice or batura if liked my video please share it comment me and subscribe to my channel thank you for watching.
