For these delicious cookies you will need all-purposeflour, room temperature egg, room temperature unsalted butter, baking soda, baking powder,kosher salt, ground ginger, ground cloves, cinnamon, vanilla extract, molasses and brownsugar and a cookie sheet.

In a medium bowl combine all-purpose with baking soda, baking powder, kosher salt, groundginger, ground cloves, cinnamon, mix together.
Now in a large mixing bowl cream the butter,now add the egg, brown sugar, molasses, vanilla extract, add flour mixture, mix until it becomesa dough, now place the dough onto wax paper, form the cookie dough into a ball, wrap thedough ball in wax paper, chill the cookie dough for three hours or longer.
Pre-Heatoven to 350 degrees, divide the cookie dough in half, now flour a flat surface, place someflour on a rolling pin, roll out the cookie dough 1/4 inch thick.
Now make the cookies.
Place the cookies one inch apart, bake the ginger bread cookies @ 350 degrees for 8-10minutes.
Let the cookies cool for 15 minutes before decorating.
Now decorate the cookies.
