Homemade Potato Chips – How to Make Potato Chips

hello and welcome to soul food cooking today I'll be making potato chips you will need canola oil two and a half tablespoons of sea salt and four russet potatoes add 1 tablespoon of salt to a bowl of cold water and set aside carefully slice your potatoes into thin slices using a food processor or mandolin slicer place the potatoes into the salted water and allowed to sit for 30 minutes after 30 minutes rinse the salted water off the potatoes and then thoroughly dry them using paper towels fried potatoes in small batches at an oil temperature of 365 degrees and allow your potatoes to cook until they're just golden ok now season your chips with the salt and they're ready to serve these potato chips taste just as good or even better than those that you buy in the store thanks for watching and don't forget to subscribe to soul food cooking.
