hello and welcome to soul food cooking today I'll be making pancakes you will need one and a half cups of all-purpose flour 1 tablespoon of sugar three and a half teaspoons of baking powder one-half teaspoon of salt 3 tablespoons of butter one and one-fourth cups of milk one-half teaspoon of vanilla extract and one egg in a separate bowl sift together the flour sugar baking powder and salt now create a well in the center of the dry mixture then add the milk melted butter egg and vanilla whisk together until just combined lightly spray your griddle with cooking oil then add your batter allow your pancakes to cook for about two minutes on each side remove your pancakes from the griddle and now they're ready to serve I love my pancakes with strawberry syrup and whipped cream if you like this video please give it a thumbs up thanks for watching and don't forget to subscribe to soul food cooking.
